Requirements for chartering a Yacht in Greece:
- The only official requirement that you must have in order to bareboat charter a sailing yacht in Greece is one member of the sailing crew to have a certified sailing license and a second member of the sailing crew to have sailing experience. In a case of a skippered charter only one member with sailing experience is required.

Yacht request and proposal:

Whenever you are interested at sailing in Greece, you can reach us through email or fax, in order to let us know your contact details, the exact required days, type of yacht (or No of passengers), port of embarkation/disembarkation.
Even if a request is made by phone, it has to be sent by email/fax in order to be processed and filed.
Our reply will be sent by return email or fax, offering you.

Option:
- In case you are interested in a yacht, you have to keep this boat on option. Keep in mind that the option can’t be valid for more than one week in the winter time and as the beginning of the season gets closer, we arrange accordingly the duration of the option. (The request for an
option has to be sent by email or fax mentioning the duration).Please note that option is different from booking as it just means that there is a possibility on your side to charter the yacht.

Confirmed Booking:
- Confirmation must be sent by email or fax mentioning the contract price, contact details, charter period, port of embarkation/disembarkation and extras that are requested (if any). On receipt of your booking confirmation, we will sent you a charter code that will be used for later mentioning.
This Charter Code Number will be used for further reference.
Following our reconfirmation you will receive by post a folder containing:
1. 7 Charter Parties signed and stamped from omiros Yachts (all of the Charter parties need to be counter stamped and signed from you and 5 copies must be returned by post to omiros Yachts)
2. Copies of Invoice signed and stamped from omiros Yachts (one copy must be counter signed and stamped from you and returned by post to omiros Yachts)

Payment:
- After receiving and signing the contract, you have to transfer into our Bank account the first deposit and insurance (refundable) according to our invoice.
The rest of the money will be paid on embarkation. Only in case of a last minute booking we accept payment upon embarkation. Cheques aren’t accepted for payments of the yacht.

Cancellation Policy:
- If you fail to provide the first payment one month after the signing of the contract then the booking is considered cancelled. If you fail to provide the balance payment 30 days prior to embarkation the booking is considered cancelled.
If you cancel between 90 and 60 days before embarkation there is a 30% cancellation fee of the total charter price. If you cancel between 60 and 30 days before embarkation there is a 50% cancellation fee of the total charter price. If you cancel less than 30 days before embarkation there is 100% cancellation fee of the total charter price.

Insurance & Security Deposit:
- Omiros Yachts’ offered yachts are insured against fire, marine and collision risks, third party liability and against any or loss damage, in excess of the amount of the deposit guarantee as mentioned on the contract signed (depending of the size and type of the boat), and always in accordance with the relevant clause of Memorandum of Agreement.
The amount of the insurance will be kept by us and delivered back to you, straight after the trip, as long as you return the yacht in the same condition as on delivery.

Delivery & re-Delivery of the boats:
- Omiros Yachts is obliged to deliver the requested boats in the best condition with all extras that are included or were requested by you on time (17:00).
Our base manager, with the skipper and the co skipper of the group, will start the check in procedure following the briefing of the crew from a qualified member of OMIROS Yachts.
The charterer (skipper) of the yacht has to sign the inventory list upon embarkation, after having checked the equipment of the yacht.
OMIROS Yachts’ staff will give you all the useful information and instructions for a safe and pleasant trip.
Check out is starting at 09:00 in the morning of the ending day and not later, in order to prepare the boat for the next charter. You have to re-deliver the boat in the same condition as on delivery. In case you are not to re-deliver the boat to the port of disembarkation, then you will be charged with the transfer and fuel fees.
During check out, only skipper and co skipper can be on the boat in order to check the yacht easier. All other passengers with their luggage have to be out of the boat. After check out, the charterer (skipper) has to sign the re-delivery form and mention that everything was under their satisfaction and there are no further complains for the yacht and the staff.
It is highly recommended that you return the yachts in the marina one day before the end of the charter at 18:00 SO there is sufficient time to inspect and repair the boat in case of any accident before the next charter. Also early arrival will minimize the risk of having yachts returning late for check out due to unforeseen circumstances.

Extras:

All Yachts offered by EASY SAIL are equipped with outboard engine, GPS, linen and galley and the vast majority of the Yachts include autopilot Spray Hood, Bimini Top, CD Player. Early notice should be given in case you require extra equipment. EASY SAIL does not bare any responsibility for failing to provide extra equipment if not promptly informed. All extras aren’t commissionable and have to be paid on the spot upon embarkation. If transfer is required, let us know in advance so that we can provide the best possible service. If you wish to have supplies on board upon your arrival, you have to complete our provisioning list at least 10 days before your embarkation. We don’t charge extra for this service and the prices are same as the market..
